Welcome to the OPI School Discipline Data Collection page for 2008-2009.
 
This OPI Web page has been developed to provide all necessary information for school discipline data collection.  The page will alert reporting agencies of any updates, changes, or provide clarification, if needed, throughout the year.  It also provides access to all resources for the data collection.
 
School Discipline Data Collection Application Opening Delayed to November 1.

The school discipline data collection application for the 2008-09 school year will not open this year before November 1.  We apologize for this inconvenience.  We are incorporating the state student identification system for the Perpetrator Identifier, and the application is being updated to insure confidentiality protection.  The school districts will be notified via Official Emails and our OPI Summary notes when we are officially open, and you will be receiving an explanation letter in the mail.  In the meantime, please continue to use the worksheets on our web page, so that the suspension and expulsion data is ready to enter when the application is officially open.  Note that an addition has been made to the worksheets to add the grade level of the perpetrator.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Marion Erp at 406-444-1951 or Lisa Smith for the IDEA side, 406-444-0685.
