School-Wide Positive Behavior Support: What is it?
The overall goals of the PBS Technical Assistance Center are to:
- Identify and enhance knowledge about, and practical demonstration of, school-wide PBS practices, systems and outcomes along the three-tiered continuum (primary, secondary, tertiary); and
- Develop, conduct and evaluate technical assistance and dissemination efforts that allow evidence-based practices to be implemented on a large scale with high durability and effectiveness.

The Mountain Plains Regional Resource Center is a U.S Department of Education,
Office of Special Education Programs funded project that helps build the
capacity of State Education Agencies and Lead Agencies in improving programs
and services for infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities. The
MPRRC is the technical assistance division of the Center for Persons with
Disabilities at Utah State University.
The mission of the University of Oregon’s Positive Behavioral Research and Support Unit is to develop and apply a science of human behavior and social systems to improve the education and support available to individuals with disabilities and at risk for disabilities, and their families. Five work groups engage in an array of applied research, personnel preparation, and technical assistance activities.
