2011 LEAD Summer Business Institute SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE!

The Native American Finance Officers Association (NAFOA) is currently accepting applications from Native American high school juniors to participate in the 2011 LEAD Summer Business Institute.


Program Description: The 2011 LEAD Summer Business Institute is an intensive three week residential program held at Dartmouth College and Stanford University in June and July.

 

Students take classes in marketing, accounting, finance, economics and ethics with some of the top professors in the country. On the weekends, students engage in a variety of extracurricular activities including movies, theme parks and sporting events.

Requirements: Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and provide proof of tribal enrollment to apply.

 

Cost: The cost of the program is $1,300 plus the cost of airfare. However, Native American students are eligible to apply for scholarships provided by NAFOA. Last year, NAFOA awarded scholarships to 90 percent of the Native students admitted into the program. SIGNIFICANT SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE THIS YEAR.
