Superintendent Juneau Seeks Outstanding Educators for Talent Pool

Sunday, May 1, 2011, 9:19 pm

Superintendent Juneau knows that Montana has world-class teachers and administrators, but she needs your help to identify those people who go the extra mile to make a difference in the lives of Montana's youth.

Each year, the Office of Public Instruction asks for recommendations of outstanding teachers and administrators for the Superintendent's Talent Pool, which consists of K-12 Montana educators. Please take a moment to submit names of remarkable people from your area to be included.

Members of the Superintendent's Talent Pool may be considered for awards, special recognition programs, task forces and advisory boards. Some application processes will require additional information. If the person you submit qualifies, the Office of Public Instruction may call you to fill out the extended form. Recommendations must be confidential, and nominees must not know they are being considered.

To recommend an outstanding educator or administrator in your area, please complete the Talent Pool Recommendation Form. You may fill it out electronically, fax it to 444.2893 or mail it to the address on the form.

Nominations for the Talent Pool may be given anytime. However, May 15, 2011 is the cutoff date to nominate an educator for the 2010-2011 school year.
