Autism Awareness Month
Thursday, April 1, 2010, 3:10 pmApril is Autism Awareness Month. Since the 1970’s educators, parents and people with autism have asked the public to increase their awareness and knowledge of autism in April of each year, so that this knowledge can be carried into the future to improve the lives of children and adults with autism. Local and national events, as well as increased media coverage, will provide opportunities to learn more about autism.
