Show Me and Teach Me about Montana Agriculture Design Contest

In recognition of National Agriculture Week, March 21st -25th, 2011, Agriculture in Montana Schools (AMS) is once again bringing the Show Me and Teach Me about Montana Agriculture Design Contest (formerly Bumper Sticker) to Montana’s elementary school children.

Eight state winners will be selected from entries received from Montana. There will be one state winner chosen from each grade and one overall winner chosen from two categories (previous years’ winners or best overall). Winning entries will be printed on placemats, postcards, and window clings as well as posted on the Agriculture in Montana School’s website. Placemats will be distributed to school cafeterias and restaurants all across Montana.

Winners will be hosted at a luncheon in Helena, where they will take tours of the Capitol, locations of interest, and meet with the Governor, the Director of Agriculture, and the President of Agriculture in Montana Schools, Miss Montana, and other supporters of agriculture literacy.
