AIM Fall Program Participation Collection - Please Review FY 2014 Fall CountsTuesday, November 26, 2013, 11:59 am
OPI staff are noticing low student program participation rates in the AIM data for students enrolled on the October count date for the 2013-2014 school year. Program participation counts reported in AIM are used to determine school district grant program eligibility and on final federal program reports that OPI sends to the U.S. Department of Education. Specifically, free and reduced price lunch counts from AIM are aggregated to calculate economically disadvantaged student percentages for schools and districts. These free and reduced price lunch percentages are frequently used to determine district and school-level program and grant eligibility. We would appreciate your assistance ensuring complete and accurate program participation data is submitted to AIM before January 1, 2014.
Here is a link to the area on the AIM website where reference guides for entering free and reduced price lunch information and other program participation information is located, under the heading "Fall Program Participation Collection:" http://opi.mt.gov/Reports&Data/AIM/Index.html#p7APMc3_4
