Developing a School Food Safety Plan - HACCP WorkshopMonday, February 24, 2014, 10:05 am
All school food service programs participating in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program are required to implement a School Food Safety Plan based upon Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP). This free professional development workshop will provide participants with the materials and expertise to develop a School Food Safety HACCP plan. The workshop is intended for school food service managers who are responsible for HACCP implementation. All participants must be ServSafe certified (8-hour course) within 5 years prior to taking this HACCP class. A list of ServSafe classes offered in Montana is available:
The OPI will offer two regional offerings of this School HACCP workshop (March and fall 2014), instead of a pre-conference session at the annual Montana School Nutrition Association (MTSNA) meeting.
