Buckle Up Signs and Surveys

Sunday, September 29, 2013, 11:03 am

We have received Buckle Up surveys from many schools that installed signs with the message: Buckle up so we can see you again.  Consider involving students in an Observational Occupant Survey to collect seat belt, cell phone and passenger data.  Compare with the 2013 YRBS Data which found 55.8% of Montana teens reported texting while driving and 51.2% always wore a seatbelt when driving.  Return completed surveys to Patti Borneman at the OPI as soon as possible. More information on the Buckle Up campaign, including survey forms, is available on the Traffic Education webpage.
