PREParing MT Kids for Healthy FuturesFriday, February 15, 2013, 11:31 am
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is partnered with agencies across 7 counties and one reservation to implement the Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP). PREP educates youth on abstinence, STD/pregnancy prevention methods, and other adult preparation topics with the goal of preventing teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections and helping Montana teens go on to lead healthy, productive lives. PREP curriculum is evidence-based, and proven to teach refusal skills and to change risk-taking behaviors. To find out if PREP is available in your community, visit http://www.dphhs.mt.gov/publichealth/wmh/personalresponsibility.shtml or contact Jeanette Blize, PREP Coordinator, at 406-444-3628, email@example.com.
