Students With Special Needs Report High Rates of Being Bullied

In this special report using 2011 Montana Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) data, Montana high school students who received special education assistance report greater prevalence rates for being bullied, threatened, property stolen or damaged and feeling unsafe at school.  These findings are part of the Students with Special Needs report in which 24 health risk behaviors are cross-tabbed among this student population.  To access the short 5-page report click on http://www.opi.mt.gov/pdf/YRBS/11/Reports/11Students_SpecialNeeds.pdf.  The report is also located on the YRBS web page under Special Reports at www.opi.mt.gov/yrbs.
