Farm to School Conference

Attention Administrators, Educators and School Nutrition Managers:
Attend Taking Root: Montana Farm to School Conference on August 16th and 17th, 2012 at Montana State University in Bozeman. See how Farm to School can connect the cafeteria, classroom and community by helping children learn about food, nutrition, and agriculture. 

This conference will showcase how agriculture, nutrition, and food science can be taught to satisfy core curriculum education standards, how local foods can be used in the school meal programs, and how connecting children with their food source supports better eating habits and the local economy.
