MTEA 2012 Conference April 22-24 in Billings -- Register by April 11

Thursday, March 1, 2012, 10:21 am

Traffic Education deals with our teens' number one public health issue:  driving.  We encourage traffic education teachers and administrators to attend the Montana Traffic Education Association (MTEA)/OPI conference April 22-24, 2012 at the Billings Hotel and Conference Center.  The delivery of Traffic Education is not without risk and liability exposure for the district, the teacher and the student.  Each conference and workshop participant is provided valuable information for minimizing risk and liability exposure.  Conference sessions will address the latest issues with the best known practices, including the challenges of behind-the-wheel instruction and parent involvement.  Attendees can earn one college credit or 15 renewal units.  Contact Jim Carroll at MTEA via email for registration, tjcarrol@rocketmail.com or visit http://www.opi.mt.gov/Programs/DriverEd/Index.html#gpm1_11 .
