April Workshop - K-5 Curriculum on Walking and Bicycling - Earn One Credit

This 1 1/2-day workshop April 21-22 in Billings will introduce educators to a comprehensive school-based traffic education program.  The "K-5: Journeys From Home, Walking and Bicycling" education materials accentuate the positive, focus on perception, decision making and mastering skills.  Scholarships for the workshop fee and the $150 MSU Northern college credit fee are made available by Montana Safe Routes to School funded through the Montana Department of Transportation.  To receive college credit, 8 hours of online coursework is required in addition to the 12-hour workshop.  20 CEU or OPI renewal units are available.  To learn more, contact Roger DiBrito at (406) 273-6458 or email roger.dibrito@gmail.com or visit Journeys From Home Montana at http://www.journesyfromhomemontana.org/workshop-info.html.
