New OPI Traffic Education Director - Fran Penner-Ray

Please join us in congratulating Fran Penner-Ray on her new position as the Traffic Education Director.  She is taking the lead on teen driver safety after working with the program since 2004.  David Huff retired in May.  Her experience includes work in education, medical libraries and as an elected town council member in Colorado.  She worked for nine years in an elementary school and as a planning board member.  As the Montana Traffic Education Director she will continue to provide vision, support and leadership for schools and communitiies to improve traffic safety education in an effort to reduce young driver crashes.
