Sunday, May 1, 2011, 9:18 pm

The 2011 Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) was completed in schools throughout Montana the last week of February.  Your school-specific data is available now on the YRBS web page at www.opi.mt.gov/yrbs through the Citrix secure portal using your IRIS username and password.  The 2011 Montana YRBS (statewide) results should be available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) by late May and will be posted to the web site as updates for all reports are made available.   The OPI wants to thank the YRBS Coordinators and superintendents in each district for their support of the YRBS; now in its 20th year of providing a measurement of self-reported health risk behaviors for unintentional injury and violence, tobacco use, alcohol and other drug use, sexual behaviors, nutrition and dietary behaviors, and physical inactivity.  Over 22,000 students in grades 7-12 participated in the 2011 YRBS.
