Multi Hazard Emergency Planning for Schools - Free TrainingMonday, November 1, 2010, 11:40 am
The Department of Homeland Security is offering a 4-day course on emergency planning for schools during 2011. Several sessions are planned for February, April, June, July and August, 2011. All travel expenses are paid by FEMA except for a meal ticket which is less than $100 for the week.
The course leads school teams through a team planning process to analyze risks and develop plans for responding to emergencies of various types.
