Eligibility Guidelines for Free and Reduced-Price School Meal Applications

In making eligibility determininations for free and reduced price meals for School Year 2010-11, schools and institutions should continue to use the 2009-10 Income Eligiblity Guidelines (IEGs).  Such determinations shall be effective for the certification period (from the date of approval through the remainder of the current school year and up to 30 operating days of the following school year.)  The 2009-10 IEGs will remain in place for the duration of the current school year.
