Title I AIM DataMonday, November 25, 2013, 4:13 pm
The Title I Program urges all school districts to review their 2012-2013 AIM data for students who may have received Title I Part A services under the requirement to serve students living in group homes for foster care (neglected) children, since these students are automatically eligible for Title I services.
Additionally, districts who received funding through Title I D, Subpart 2 and provided services to students living in local detention centers, in group homes for adjudicated youth, or who participated in local at-risk programs should also review each student’s AIM data.
Both neglected and delinquent students generate federal Title I dollars and should be properly coded in AIM as either Title I Neglected or Title I Delinquent to ensure that funds are properly allocated to the districts providing services. For questions regarding how to properly identify and code neglected or delinquent students in AIM served by Title I A or Title I D, please contact Heather Denny at email@example.com or (406) 444-2036.
