Schools of Promise-School Improvement Grant Adds New Staff

Tuesday, March 1, 2011, 8:51 am

SIG wishes to announce an addition to its on-site staff in Lame Deer.  John Bole is now assigned to the Lame Deer School District as its full-time transformational leader.

SIG schools are busy putting CRT testing protocols in place with highly detailed plans that include parents, pep rallies and incentives. The community liaisons in all four districts (Frazer, Pryor, Lodge Grass, and Lame Deer) have been integral in garnering community support to instill the importance of doing well on the state required tests.  They hope the results of this year's test truly reflect the hard work that students and their teachers have done.

Also, SIG schools will focus summer school on credit recovery options for students in need but will also be providing highly engaging modules for summer institutes. These units will incorporate academics with culturally relevant issues, experiential learning and physical activity.
