Perkins 'Intent to Apply' AND State Vo-ed Funding application DUE April 18, 2011

Monday, April 4, 2011, 2:26 pm

From an earlier e-mail sent to every high school superintendent and those included in the CTE/Perkins Primary Contact list.
NEW THIS YEAR, the Office of Public Instruction has combined both the federal Carl D. Perkins 'Intent to Apply' AND the State Vo-ed Funding application for school districts' convenience.  High schools can apply for one or both of these funding programs using one electronic form.

Authorized Representatives of Local Education Agencies (LEAs) should use the link below to access and complete the Perkins 'Intent to Apply' electronic form and the State Vo-ed Funding application for the 2011-2012 E-Grants cycle.  All public high schools and K-12 districts with qualifying Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are eligible to apply for funding.  Elementary districts are not eligible for Perkins or State Vo-ed monies.  Districts will NOT receive a 2011-2012 Perkins allocation unless the electronic form is completed and submitted online at the OPI on or before the April 18, 2011 deadline.

The online link is located here:

DEADLINE is April 18, 2011.
