Juneau to Deliver State of Education Address

Helena, MT - On Monday, February 4, Superintendent Denise Juneau will deliver the State of Education Address to a joint session of the Montana House of Representatives and the Montana Senate. Juneau's State of Education Address coincides with the beginning of her budget presentation to the Joint Appropriations Subcommittee on Education.

Juneau way lay out her Graduation Matters legislative agenda, share examples of the innovation happening in Montana's public schools, and make the case for increased funding for schools to keep Montana students performing at the top of the nation.

This is Juneau's third State of Education Address. She will be joined by special guests Patty Meyers, Chair of the Board of Public Education, Clay Christian, Commissioner of Higher Education, Angela MacLean, Chair of the Board of Regents, and Eileen Sheehy, the 2013 Montana Teacher of the Year.
