Abe’s Grant Report—Abraham J. Perlstein, a lawyer in Brooklyn, compiles a free daily e-mail newsletter that summarizes grant opportunities listed in the Federal Register.  Also provides web addresses so you can access the full requests for proposals.  To sign up, contact abes-grant-reports-subscribe@egroups.com .

American Finance Center—at the bottom of this page, there’s some helpful grant-writing tips for first-timers (avoid the top half of the page, which is just trying to sell stuff).

Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA)—huge lists of Federal grant programs, broken down by a variety of categories.  Something for everyone!

EZ/EC Community Toolbox—site offers a search of current government grants in all departments.

The Federal Commons—links to Federal grant programs (part of the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance's Web site).

Federal Register—part of the National Archives and Records Administration website, it contains a searchable list of federal grants that links to detailed guidelines.

Fundsnet Services Online—lists foundations and grants.

Government Printing Office—Provides links to government data bases, some which have grant information.

Grant Help—some free lessons in grant writing, plus their recommendations for grant writing tools (like books, kits, etc.).

GrantMaster.com—has some free information on grants in addition to some grant-writing items up for sale.

GrantsNet—U.S. Department of Health and Human Services website, full of information about their grants.  Also handy is a Who’s Who list of people to contact in the government about grants.

Grant News—site lists news about grants from around the world, good place to get some ideas but not a lot of specific grants.

SchoolGrants—two versions, one for newer computers and one for older computers, which makes this easily accessible.  K-12 grants, to help “make teacher’s dreams possible.”
